Clemson didn't Clemson. They just weren't prepared to play. They strutted in there,
tossed their helmets on the field and expected to win. That's not clemsoning, that's
being cocky.

Wazzo...turned it over 7 times. They never gave themselves a chance to Clemsoning.

Now the 3rd best team in Alabama came close, but the reality is they just got a lesson
in household mechanics. It was too easy for them in the 1st quarter, and they believed
that momentum was like a light switch..."they could turn it on whenever they wanted."
It don't work like that.

The winner has to be Washington. No matter how bad they had played, they were still in
the game. Still in it at crunch time and then they clemsoned.

If I was a Washington fan...I think I'd be questioning Peterson about his preparation in his
kicking game and how much time they spend on it. I can remember at least three times,
two against Nevada where they lost undefeated seasons because of their kicking game.
nd they didn't lose them by missing some 55-yard FG that hit the crossbar and fell back,
they missed an extra point and two point-blank range FG's.

When that stuff happens at multiple schools and roughly in the same manner, that is a red
flag that the HC ain't taking that stuff serious enough
