Is UConn Overrated?

They've escaped three upset minded teams so far, battling past Bryant, Charleston and Dayton in games that were way closer than they should have been. And now, West Virginia is up by 10 with just 6 minutes to go.

Does UConn deserve to be in the top 25? Outside of Boatright, this team just doesn't seem that talented.

They are just young and the season just started. They'll figure it out and be tourney team but right now I'd say they deserve to be ranked top 20ish.

They're decent but not worthy of their current ranking.

Btw, Dayton is no pushover, they made a sweet 16 run last year and are very well coached.

UConn had a rough night shooting (namely Purvis) 50% from the line, 17% from downtown, but they have plenty of talent. Fringe top 25 team right now perhaps, but so is a 5-0 West Virginia, imo.

Gotta give WVU a lot of credit. They set a tourney record with 37 steals? They're going to force a boatload of turnovers. If they can knock down a few 3s, look out.

I wouldn't worry about UConn making the NCAA Tourney. They'll be in the mix.

Just how good is WVU, they didn't return much outside of Staten and Williams

I think they got the high ranking because they're defending champs. Whatever the case they'll get better as the yr. goes on.

UCONN will probably limp into March as a 5 seed and end up making a deep run.
