Mississippi lawmaker proposes bill that would curb NCAA investigations

“The measure would force the NCAA to deliver its official Notice of Allegations within six months of the day it sends a school a preliminary letter of inquiry. If the sports governing body does not hold a hearing and hand out punishments within one year, the state would fine the NCAA $10,000 a day until a final ruling is made.”

I feel like these lawmakers should be proposing bills that actually help our country and the citizens, as opposed to proposing bills that don't really matter. I mean maybe I don't fully understand a congressman's job:noidea:

Wow, it took the NZZA 3 years to find NOTHING against USC, that would have cost over a million dollars

I challenge you to find something more important than this very subject in our country! Other than which restroom a person should use obviously.

Well for one thing the guy is a state representative not a congressman. So learning the difference might be a good start.

It's definitely the most Ole Piss ever, but Ole Piss only does what it does because that culture permeates throughout the SEC.

The SEC is a cesspool of pay for play. Houses, apartments, farm equipment, cars, casino chips, gift cards, even bitcoin. It's going on right now.

$100 dollar handshakes and bag men are still around too.

Texas needs to get in on this! Come on, dammit! Tired of seeing other states win all the titles all the time!

Ole Piss is having their worst recruiting cycle in a decade.

They're hamstrung with the investigation looming over their heads. It's hilarious. They deserve it. Smoke has been billowing from the roof of that school for so long. I guess it took the Five Alarm Fire on draft day with Tunsil for people to wake the fuck up about what's going on there.

I hope they're building a mountain of evidence. They've even been interviewing players from other schools who were recruited by Ole Piss with guaranteed immunity.

It's true. You can't be the equivalent of Kansas (yes, I know they beat us) for decades then all of a sudden bring in top ten recruiting classes and be the only team that can challenge Bama in the conference overnight.

You do realize most of what they get is all legal right? The image of a "poor college student athlete" is pretty much bullshit - and it's all legal.

Ole Miss has been cheating it's ass off, but most of the stuff that goes on isn't paying for players.

It's the most heinous outside of the fact that they were fixing ACT scores for recruits.
