Is the 5 rounds mandatory, in MBBRL Danasty?

IM saying yes, because im saying you should only keep 13 max players, and be forced to drop 5 prior to the draft......this is of course my opinion

Kidding aside though..I don't have 5 guys on this roster I'm willing to drop. Sure I've got five, any one of which, I'd kick to the curb for my first round pick, but not a 5th guy that I think I'd like to drop who wouldn't be better than what would be equivalent to the 70th best available guy by the time my 5th round pick comes up. I honestly can only see myself wanting to dump 3, MAYBE 4 guys. Likely not 4, becuase thes simply not that many guys available who would be any better of a Longshot than what I've already got, so why not just go with them?

And if one of them hits, one of my first 2 picks hits, than next year I have even fewer guys I want to lose. Why punish an owner who builds a strong deep roster? Isn't building a strong deep roster and maintaining it year to year the basis of a dynasty? Just my thoughts

Okay, but then where does it end? 25? 30? Limitless? Theres gotta be a limit on one or the other, and either limit will "hurt" a savvy team owner..so we've just limited one, that's probably good enough

you guys make no sense. YOu say thers no players to go around......you dont wanna expand rosters, thers tons of guys rostered who shouldnt be.......

We are dropping players though. 3 per team, 14 teams that's 42 Also I'm guess that some will drop more then 3 and some will drop 5 ( I think). Perhaps if the draft looked more enticing you get a different answer.

I want to expand rosters.

And I'm not even going to cut a player that's retired. (I will prolly cut the other one that retired though.) I made maybe 5 transactions last year total. And one trade. I didn't want to cut them last year, don't want to do it now either.

If participating in the draft is not mandatory, than by defualt, there's no need to drop anyone, unless you're taking a draft pick. If 5 rounds is mandatory, than yea, must drop 5.

Basically you HAVE to drop when you draft. If 5 rounds is mandatory, you drop 5, if it's not, and you choose only to partake in the 1st round. .you drop 1, 2 rounds, you drop 2, and so on. If you don't want to draft, you keep the 18 you have

There are players. .but there is not 70 players. So, yes I want to be able to drop players, I want there to be a possibility of having a few worthwhile crumbs to choose from, but I don't want to be forced to drop players, when those crumbs aren't any better than what I've already decided to take a gamble on
