What do you guys think about trading Bryce Harper for Joey Votto & Billy Hamilton in a category-based, keeper fantasy league?

rotisserie or H2H, OBP or BA??

Hamilton and Votto are the BEST there is in their categories(OBP, SB)...

If it is H2H and OBP, I would probably do that trade... if it is rotisserie I would not... If it is BA, I probably would not.

Thanks! It is a dynasty keeper league though. And Votto is almost 10 years older than Harper...although Hamilton is similar in age.

that does complicate things... Hamilton's age might be similar but as a base stealer, his prime is MUCH earlier... youth has legs... so this is one of those win now lose later trades... so the real question is what type of team are you??

With this being a dynasty(assuming you don't mean keeper), I would probably pass... even if you are in the win now mode, you are holding the BEST player in the deal...

Yesterday, Bryce Harper informed the Washington Nationals that he wants a minimum 10 year, $400M contract when this contract is up in 2018. Should the Nats step up and give him an extension or a new contract for less than $40M a year? Where does it end? When does a league finally say 'NO". Players can't win games on their own, they need 8 other guys doing their job to be successful.

Is any player really worth $25,000 a game?

Not the $250k per game that Harper is asking for
