I'm done with our first 2 games. Season starts Saturday against isu. This game rights the season and gets us ready for @pitt.

Hawks finally put it together and put a hurtin on the clowns 29-16 (our kicker makes a 9 yd FG and misses 2 PATs)

I say we just start going for it any time we're inside the 30 yard line on 4th down. Would rather take my chances with that vs. a shaky kicker.

Theoretically yes, but this is a Kirk Ferentz led offense.....

I'd love to see him in there. He adds a different dimension but sometimes that dimension gets a little sideways

I'd like to see the Hawkeyes put up about 275 yards of rushing with 4 TDs to go with that effort. Add to that play action pass and this game turns into a route!!!

But, as mentioned already, this is a KF-led offense of doing the opposite of what should be done.

Iowa's defense clearly settled in and dominated Ball St after their first drive. That same "shut-down" mentality will be needed against Iowa St Saturday, or there will be a lot of depressed Iowa fans around the country.
