I got cat stories for days.

Not Mao Mao.

That little feral kitten I brought in for my Grandma around Christmas.

Grandma decided she wouldn't take her. (Knows the cat will out live her.). Grandma took a spill, got a concussion and has been at a rehab place for awhile now anyway. Kitten stays. Then a month or so ago the little thing somehow broke her front right leg and back left leg while I'm in the shower. Two surgeries and a few grand later, she has pins in both legs and is losing her mind from boredom.

3 fifteen minutes breaks from her caged bed rest, on doctors orders.

She hates bein in that damned cage.

And I hate putting her back in there as much as I hate listening to her scream.

Looks like it's time to get high in the barn. (It's "ditchweed". And I think I'd have to go to Mexico to get it these days.)

Yeah. It's bad when you have to make them sleep more than their usual 20 hours a day.

Is Mao Mao gone now?

He's doing fine. So long as there isn't a wind over 3 mph. Wind frightens the good Mao.

He isn't much of a fan of the kitten, she moves quickly, creating wind. (Not right now, but pre surgery). His idiot brother George thinks she's cool though. He'll just sit and stare while purring, for hours.

Pixie and Dixie and Mr. Jinks came out in the late 50's... Old age can make you forget things too.
