In New York, back in the 6 sided ring. Curt Angle making his mark. JEff Hardy to go for the title against Lashley later.

They should change the name of the show, no Impact at all.

:omg:
PWInsider is reporting that over the weekend TMZ ran a story claiming that Spike TV cancelled TNA Impact and TNA was looking for a new home for the show. PWInsider has been unable to confirm the story even after talking to their sources in TNA. They have requested comment from Spike TV and TNA but haven't heard back yet as of this morning.

TNA's contract with Spike TV for airing Impact runs to/thru October, so any canellation wouldn't be effective until then, at least that is my understanding if TMZ's story is in fact true which still remains to be seen.

MTC!

Its a damn shame. They spend way too much time trying to emulate the NWO philosophy instead on focusing on rivalries and storylines. I turn over now and then to see if anything has changed. I could care less about Dixie Carter.

No wonder Spike is turning elsewhere.

Hi Otis,

Yeah! TNA does seem to be it's own worst enemy at times. :confused2:

UPDATE

UPDATE to Impact cancelled story:

Both Viacom, the parent company of Spike TV and TNA are denying TMZ's story that Impact was cancelled with both saying negotiations are still on-going.

I bet TMZ won't admit they got the story wrong if Impact gets renewed.

Its the same old story-lines with both TNA and WWE.. whoever is in charge gets a power surge through their brain and turns to the dark side.. you've seen it with Dixie Carter - MVP and Triple H.. both organizations aren't focusing on rivalries.. last night's RAW was pathetic.. the best part of the show was when Orton kicked Reigns' ass with some help from Kane.. and that wasn't even a scheduled match!!

Me too... although I damn near changed the channel when Dixie Carter came out and once again showed why she should be barred from being on TV ever again.

She is fucking horrible in front of a camera.

She's trying to be like Stephanie but she comes off as Paula Deen.

X Division match was fun to watch.

Actually had quality tonight. Lashley and Aries put on a good show. I'm a fan of Samoa Joe and while moments seemed forced he carried the match reasonably well. Bubba Ray (I can't call him Bully) does a shoot with the best of them.

Decent card.

yeah, they are stepping up for sure. I just keep an eye on impact because WCW took Raw to a new level to make sure they had to keep up and stay ahead.

I like the X division when they are the smaller guys that just dont make sense beating up super heavyweights every week. Samoa Joe is a super heavyweight in that division that I dont think belongs.

I have not watched it in several years.

When I last watched it, I thought that the top main eventers should have been Matt Morgan (who was horribly misused in the WWE as the stuttering giant!) and Hernandez. They should have put those guys in the front and ridden them for all they are worth.

I heard that Morgan retired and I have no clue if Hernandez even bothers to come out of Mexico anymore.

They did have some good talent but their storylines were too stagnant to make much of a splash in the ratings. It soulds like that remains the same.

The story lines are indeed a little "weak". The good thing I took from last night was that the action in the ring was much better than the previous week. Some better writing and development of rivalries would really make the overall product pretty good. Not WWE good (heyday WWE - not the average junk they are trotting out there now)... but it doesn't need to be that level.

But someone really, really needs to get it through to Dixie Carter that she is terrible in front of a camera.
