As Agent 86 himself used to say, " And loving it....."

Never up, never in.

I can buy an all in warranty that while not as good as one could get if they purchased new is pretty good.

I'm OK with my rationale as I hurtle past Chets in their "XXXX" whatever...

In my 2010 recently acquired Audi S4......

I just upgraded the wife's car...2013 535i...CPO FL car with 31k mi. It had 5 mos new car warranty left and you get 2 yrs or 100k for a CPO car. My brother-n-law has had 4 and swears by them...we've never owned a Bimmer before, we shall see.

Me...I've got decent trade or sell value on my Infiniti G37, but I think I'm going to hang on to it for at least another year. I've been eyeing the Audi RS5, 8 cyl (not a huge fan of turbo engines)...but 2 German cars kinda scares me a little on maintenance.

May stay Japanese.

RS5? Big $$.....

I'm completely happy with my S4. Goes like a bat out of hell....

S4 is a nice, nice ride...The dealer had a great looking one on the lot that I tried to get the wife into, but she was drawn to the 535 interior.

Me...I'm more in the 2-door car and pickup 3rd vehicle mode now...yes the RS5 is pricey, but I'm not looking for new and I could be sold on a S5 too.

You guys seem to know your shit. Please explain to me why buying used is better than leasing.

Buying anything is better than leasing, unless the vehicle costs can be written off as business expense.

Florida is great for finding great deals on boats as well. Mississippi is a great state to find vintage or older cars for restoring....between the 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s model cars or trucks. They have rust, but the folks there have no clue what they are worth and leave them to rot out in fields everywhere in north Mississippi.

West Texas is much the same, cars have even less rust but cars are spread out further and prices are higher than in Mississippi.

That's one of the things I really liked, the interior. Love the seats. And those paddle shifters.....

That's how I feel about my 2005 S55 AMG.

But I do not like that paint job.

It's "mimetic polyalloy." Whatever that is...it's the future of car finishes I've heard. No rust, no scratches and easily re-done.
