My mock no trades, no trades because no one really ever know what the hell BB is gonna do. For all I know he could give our first and two seconds to move up an take Chubb. I am sure there will be some maneuvering by the Pats but this is my straight up mock draft. Just a direction I would like them to take.
RD 1 (31st Overall) LB/DE: Sam Hubbard, DE, Ohio State
43 Tackles 13.5 for a loss 7 sacks would be a nice addition to put some pressure on QBs.
Secondary Pick: Roquon Smith OLB Georgia
RD 2 11 (43rd Overall) Donte’ Jackson CB LSU.
Excellent speed can run with the big dog’s, a risk taker he’ll have to be broken of that but he would be worth the pick if available.
Secondary Pick: Mike Hughes CB Central FL.
RD 2 31 (63rd Overall) QB Luke Falk QB Washington State. Falk is a very accurate QB with good arm strength and is real comfortable in the pocket. If he is there I think the Pats take him
Secondary Pick: Kyle Lauletta QB Richmond.
Rd 3 31 (95th Overall) LT Brain O’Neill OT Pitt: Great athlete for a man his size has played multiple positions needs to bulk up a bit, but with an NFL weight management program that will not be an issue.
Secondary Pick: Brandon Parker OT North Carolina A&T
Rd 4 36 (136 Overall) RB Kalen Ballage RB Ariz State: It’s time for the Pats to get a big bruising back and Ballage has great speed for a big man, has a great burst and runs well in the open field.
Secondary Pick: Royce Freeman RB Oregon.
Rd 6 36 (210 Overall) QB Tanner Lee QB Nebraska: I know what you are thinking WTH MoJo two QBs? Well it’s not unlike the Pats to roll the dice on taking two players at the same position this year it’s QB. The end is near for the legend so the Pats will want to asses this position. Lee another solid pocket passer not mobile but works the pocket 3000 yards passing on 23 TDs with 16 INTs. He will have to work on decision making but the team will have time to mold him.
Secondary Pick: Riley Ferguson QB Memphis..
Rd 7 1 (219 Overall) S Tre Flowers Safety OSU
Secondary Pick: Jamar Summer UCONN
