I'm 2nd in points scored, yet dead last in the league

How in the hell does this shit happen to me year after year?

2nd in points scored in the league. Averaging well over 100 points per week, standard scoring.

Yet here I am sitting at 2-5 and tied for dead last. Bullshit I tell you. Bunch of bullshit.

There is a guy who is averaging a little over 70 points per week and he's 4-3. Somebody please tell me I'm not the only one this happens to all the time.

I've won the league scoring title and missed the playoffs before. .. In a league where only 2 teams miss the post season

You may be averaging over 100 per week but how many 100+ weeks do you have. Consistency is much more important than actual points in H2H

Before this week (when I won with very few points; I had 80ish points and if I started my bench I'd have had 130ish), I had played the highest scoring team in the league five of the six weeks, with the sixth being the #3 scorer (I was the #2 scorer). With standard scoring in an eight team league, my opponents had 725 points in 6 weeks. The second highest points against was like 610.

5 of my 7 weeks have been over 100.

The 2nd week I had Charles and RGIII both go down in the 1st quarter so I only scored 94 that week. This week I had Cousins and Fred Jackson going and both of them left the game early so I scored 78.

In my work league I am 3-4. Just read in the yahoo recap that in each of my four losses, my opponent had the high point total for the week in the league (including 173 this week with R Wilson, Demarius and Hillman). I am counting on this evening out over the second half.

Yea. I like how there is a "points allowed" column in the standings.

Like we are actually allowing or not allowing our opponents to score what they score

been a bad year for me overall. I'm in about 4 or 5 money leagues. seems to be a habit in last few players to play my opponent always gets enough in the monday night game to beat me while even when i have players they lay an egg. I'm usually winning by 20 points after the sunday night game..then a loss come monday night

I am 3-4 in one of my leagues but I have the most points scored by far. I was the highest scoring team for the week in 2 wins and the second highest scoring team for 2 of my losses. The 3rd highest scoring for 1 loss and just got blowed out of the other loss. My other win I was the 2nd highest scoring team also.

I really should be 6-1 but it is what it is. I feel confident cause I have the highest scoring team and hopefully in the long run it will work out. All you have to do is make the playoff!

Yea, usually the higher scoring team wins it all. I dropped Chris Ivory like a dumbass and the second best team in the league picked him up. Im 7-0, I need Smith from ATL to produce more than last week.
