Belton and Lynch have good days, D scores again and Hack starts to find a groove with some confidence in OL and the new found running game.

Illinois has a horrible defense according to ranking but they are doing a excellent job against our offense. So is it our offense that sucks or are they doing amazing today? Our 1st team o-line is finally together so hopefully they can start playing like it. If would have been a looooong year if it wasn't for our kick ass defense.

That was a bad, bad game in all phases. Special teams cost us a 6 point swing, our bobbled snap on a chip shot and then not fielding the opening kick of second half, offense was putrid minus the opening 2 drives and the long run by Lynch and defense played soft and let them down late.

It will not be a fun week in film room for this team. We definitely need the 15 extra practices

I think that's a real reach calling him terrible offensive mind. We are playing with a very short deck, a patchwork line that has gotten him beaten up all year, a bunch of freshmen WR who are not getting separation when we do block, too many drops and a running game that has only shown up for 3 games all year. Bill Walsh wouldn't do much on offense with this situation. It is what it is.

We'll be a much better team next year with so many young guys gaining such valuable experience, but this year is pretty much a 13 game scrimmage and 15 extra practices for bowl season.

If we are struggling like this on offense next year at this time, I will agree with you. Give the guy a chance to put his system in and get a full year for the young guys to adjust.

We are still working our way out of a sanctioned hole as well overcoming the Sandusky affair which does indeed play into the mix at several levels. It'll take some time but PSU will come back to its winning ways soon enough.
