Eh... I hear ya but I hate that logic. Each season is supposed to be graded independently of each other. I think 5/6/7 games in we have seen enough to judge teams based on this year and not last.

It really isn't bad logic. Every national champion from here on out should be the preseason 1 until they lose. It all works itself out anyway

You mean 3 teams ranked at that time. I personally do not care where FSU is ranked at this moment. They win all their games and they are in the playoff. End of story.
