If LeBron chooses CLE...

Does he do another reveal show? I'm torn on if he should, and I am a guy that hated the first one. Here is my thought:

1) Don't do a reveal, just sign like everyone else and let the team hold a press conference

or

2) You really pissed off a lot of CLE with the first announcement, so perhaps you owe those fans the same pomp and SportsHoopla

It isn't like those that think he was a douche for the first announcement can think any less of him, so why not give the CLE people the joy of another show like the first but that they win?


And yeah, this is a legit topic but another annoying LBJ thread so I figured I'd just start it here.

I might be wrong, but if he does return to Cleveland, I have to think that a pretty significant factor in that decision is now realizing just how wrong that first spectacle was, so I lean toward no second spectacle.

I think he has matured a lot from that time. I'd be surprised if he did any such thing. He has to know a lot of those fans will accept him back, but there will be many that don't and he really can't rock things too much.

That's part of my desire to see a big production as well, see if they all think the BS reveal is "no big deal" when it is their star leaving.

I am confused as to why going back to Cleveland makes him a big time a-hole. He played for Miami four years, took them to the finals four more times then they would have and now wants to make a change. What's wrong with that?

By all accounts, he's been a great teammate throughout his career and for the most part he stays pretty quiet during the season.

Was he under contract with ESPN? Did he have to do the show, the over the top crap, make comments about how he doesn't care if he chokes in the 4th because your life sucks and his doesn't? Did ESPN make him and Wade taunt a sick Dirk in the finals?


Pretty sure that childish, asshole stuff is on him and no one else.
