Most likely. However, if he can still do it and a team wants him, might as well play

he hasnt been valuable since 2011 or 2012, and even then he was barely a .300 OBP guy.

He hasn't been "starter" valuable since then, but he was a perfectly acceptable bench guy last year. It's just that this year, and 2015, he hasn't even been that. I doubt the Marlins pick up his option next year and I doubt anyone picks him up.

Ichiro hasn't been good offensively in years, but he's been a fine 4th OF (save for 2015 and 2017). He at least hit enough to make his glove and baserunning useful.

Crazy to think he started his MLB career at the age of 27 and this is his 17th season.
