Yeah, he was dumb, but he's still young. He hasn't suffered any real consequences so it's not likely that he's matured. Maturity comes with dealing with the consequences of one's mistakes.

I get that, but really, how much maturity can a person acquire in two months? It sometimes happens that a person will have a major life event occur, such as the birth of a child, and completely rehabilitate himself, but it's rare. It's even more rare when the consequences for his illegal and foolish mistakes were withheld from him.

Seriously, how many times have we heard professional athletes, across all sports, say pretty much the same thing? "It's in the past. I don't dwell on that stuff. I've grown up."

My thoughts are, "Quit telling me you've grown up and start showing me that you've grown up." That takes more than two months of not getting caught doing something wrong.

Bottom line: No Thanks on Callaway.
