Id imagine they are aware of the fact that they've wasted some HOF talent.

And hey, they might actually be excited for next season. I think they did pretty much everything right last year and are probably 2 years away from a solid rebuild if they keep at it

Not sure he is HOF worthy yet but time will tell.

For the Lions I do feel they are on the right track and need the rebuild to be done over the course of a few years, can't hurry success.

I think if Stafford was on a good organization then he had a shot. Lack of pro bowls and all pros have doomed that prospect imo.

Barry Sanders and Megatron, though. Suh, too, to an extent.

Pro Bowl is a complete JOKE.... It really shouldn't be used to measure how good or bad a player is

What measurement should we use to compare players from different eras in football? All Pro is the best we got as best as I can tell

I'd take All Pro over Pro Bowl anyday (besides now a days no player truly cares about the Pro Bowl like they did in Era's past)

Its generally what I use as a rule of thumb. Its basically #1 eyeball test, #2 All pro, #3 pro bowl, #4 playoff success, #5 stats. I think I could probably knock pro bowl down some spots but there are some years where guys like Peyton and Brady are dueling it out in the same tier. Or Tony G and Antonio Gates. Stuff like that.

I do think the pro bowl has kinda lost its luster in the past decade. Maybe its always been that way? There are two or three positions they get "wrong" every year it seems

I agree with all of this. I'll add.. To me the Pro Bowl is just a popularity contest now. Back in the day it actually meant you truly deserved it and are worthy of it. Now it's just "Meh, go to Miami/Vegas (which I can do whenever I want or stay at home and bang my wife)

Stafford's lone Pro Bowl was not one of his top 5 seasons, but it was the year the Lions had a defense so they won 11 games.
