since you only start 1 RB, I probably would pass on Wilkins

but if you literally just have a luxury pick to make and don't need the depth anywhere else, I'd definitely nab Wilkins in that scenario
If he's still there when I pick at 5.1 I'm going to take him.

Question is Pettis still there? He gets high marks from a very well known MBBRL guru. .... as does Lamar Jackson. .....

I'd be targeting a rookie safety first, James, Fitzpatrick, Harrison, maybe Edmonds.
LB's next- Smith, Edmonds, Evans, Vander Esch.

With your scoring system I want Tackles and INT's over sacks.
Wanted to bump this for reference.

I would look at LBers before Safeties, but that is just me. A stud LB can almost be like starting another offensive skill position player. Edmonds from Buffalo and Raquan Smith should be the first two off the board.

That being said, MFL projects S Derwin James to be the highest scoring DB in my scoring system, which is similar to yours. And I don't mean highest scoring rookie DB... I mean highest scoring DB overall, fwiw.

Those two LBs are off the board, so James is on my list. You just convinced me to make him my next pick....if he’s still there.

Cool... as long as you don't come back to blame me if he ends up sucking for you.

sorry @averagejoe ..my mind was way off from facts. Your correct all around. A really good lb can get 50 more tackles than a great safety. My bad, sirry

Still take a safety over a DL any day though, unless the IDP setup requires individual positions.

Not to worry. I’m thankful for the tips and we all know the draft is a crapshoot. Been fun being able to bounce around ideas while the draft is happening.

I'm thinking Bradley Chubb for the 5.6. DL don't do much but I have to start one and I only have one on my roster.

FYI-Read some good things on DaeSean Hamilton and Deon Cain lately. Both are late rookie picks with a fairly easy path to get snaps.

Hamilton has Thomas and Sanders ahead of him and then there’s Sutton. So not a easy path IMO, maybe down the road. Not a fan of the Broncos offense either.
Cain , OK could be. However before I invest in a Colts WR I want to know for sure that Luck is back and playing well.

However both are worth a flyer deep in a rookie draft.I’ll keep them in mind.

Talk is Hamilton may wind up as Keenum's slot this year, and take over for Sanders next year.
Cain has ability to work in the red zone and has already been standing out in that area in OTA's. I've been following these rookie WRs looking for that diamond.

Think instead I take Wilkins, just can’t resist.

Not a bad way to go. ... saw he is running with the 1st while Mack nurses an injury. I do think you need one more DL though. .... perhaps Chubb will still be there when it gets back, if not, there's always waiver guys. ...
Since we only start one DL and nobody and I mean nobody uses the DL for a flex there are always guys on the WW.

Yup and RBs are always good trade bait. Thinking maybe the D. Henry owner will be interested in Dion Lewis, the Penny owner in C. Carson etc.
