Not being a smart ass but if the Corn Holers get their heads out of their asses and swallow a large lump of pride I would go out and get Chipper!

There offense sucks and he would change that fast, and with his NFL connections he could hire a good DC...
I like it. Plus it has the OD reaction factor.

Well that too.....

But as much as I bad mouth Chipper and the shit show he brought to my Eagles, they guy can coach college football, and Nebraska has a brand, and to be fair he made Oregon so it's really a no brainer of a move!

Huskies open -10 vs Colorado. Decent spread which shows some respect. Guess we find out what this team is really made of this week. Now comes PAC play with a big matchup vs the 2016 south champs.

No. 7 Washington Faces Colorado In Pac-12 Title game Rematch

September 21, 2017 10:12 AM

BOULDER, Colo. – The University of Washington is taking on the University of Colorado in a rematch of last year’s Pac-12 title game.

No. 7 Washington (3-0, 0-0 Pac-12) at Colorado (3-0, 0-0), Saturday, 10:07 p.m. (FS1)

Line: Washington by 10 ½.
Series record: Washington leads 10-5-1.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

This is a rematch of the Pac-12 title game a season ago, when Washington routed Colorado 41-10. The Buffaloes are trying to downplay the revenge factor and simply referring to this game a barometer to see how they stack up. Colorado is looking for its first 4-0 start since 1998 — the last season under coach Rick Neuheisel before he left for Washington.

KEY MATCHUP
Washington’s Dante Pettis has returned a punt for a score in each of the first three games. That gives him eight scores on punt returns for his career, which ties the NCAA record held by Wes Welker (Texas Tech) and Antonio Perkins (Oklahoma). Don’t be surprised if the Buffaloes kick far, far away from Pettis.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Washington: LT Trey Adams. He and his fellow linemen are keeping QB Jake Browning safe along with opening big holes for RB Myles Gaskin. Adams was a first-team, All-Pac-12 player last season.

Colorado: LB Drew Lewis. He has registered 10 or more tackles in all three games this season, his first as a starter. Lewis spent 2014 with Washington as a redshirt, before going to Coffeyville Community College for one season.

FACTS & FIGURES

The Huskies have won seven straight over Colorado. … Browning has thrown for 7,183 yards and is closing in on Jake Locker (7,639 yards passing, 2007-10) for third on the school’s all-time passing list. He’s also eight TD passes away from tying Keith Price (75, 2010-13) for most in a career at Washington. … Colorado is two wins away from No. 700 in school history. … The Buffaloes have won eight straight at Folsom Field, which is their longest streak since winning 10 in a row from 1993-95. … Sophomore QB Steven Montez is 5-1 as the starter. It’s the best start by a Colorado quarterback since Mike Moschetti went 5-0 in 1998. … RB Phillip Lindsay is third in the Pac-12 game with a 126 yards rushing per game. … Colorado coach Mike MacIntyre is part of a 3-0 team for the first time in 28 seasons as a coach on the pro or college level.

Well it's official Chico broke his ankle...... sum bitch that hurts....
Yeah, that's a big loss particularly in their bigger games down the stretch.

They do have a lot of talent and depth at WR, but not a ton of experience. And I don't think anyone else is as fast.

Should get Coleman back this week though.

Looks like he's should be able to medical red shirt meaning he still has two years of eligibility left, but damn.

Need Murphy back ASAP as well. I think the back end did ok against Colorado, but they need his ball hawking skills and the added depth big time.

Yeah, but if there is one unit on this team I don't worry about it's the secondary...I love what Lake does back there, and the damn talent is perfect....

Cal, Oregon, WSU, and UCLA are all going to air it out. You need experienced depth and ball hawks all over the place. Hell, with WSU you might go to a dime package half the game.

Dawgs are hosting Cal tomorrow and have one official visit on the books in attendance.
Tommy Togiai, Highland, Defensive Tackle

The #1 DT available on the west coast.

He's got offers and/or official visits with Ohio State, USC, Penn State, Michigan, and other high value teams.

From Idaho so hopefully he wants to stay a bit closer to home and grew up loving Petersen.

Several unofficial visits as well, but Tommy is the big one in town.

Does anyone have any info on who Primetime was talking about earlier this week? I guess he tweeted out that he wanted someone of Washington to reach out to him because he had a player that was a big fan of UW. Softy asked Jimmy Lake about it and he said he talked to Sanders and knows who the kid is, but of course couldn't say more. Saw someone post a link to a RB they thought might be it based on when Lake added him to his followers list, but that's a reach. Hope its a baller.

Well the playoff run is over so now it's time to focus on at least winning the conference.

With two kickers that are seriously THIS bad, I'm not sure how likely that goal is.

Petersen better find a fucking crazy ass high end kicker for his next class because the two he has are going to get killed on the streets.

Doesn't it seem weird to anyone that BOTH our college teams come in at 6-0, and neither one bothers to put up any kind of performance?

Cougars didn't even TRY to do anything, and where the hell was the Husky offense?

This was exactly the same performance as @zona last year and @Utah last year.

The only difference was two missed FG's from 27y and 21y. :L Well that and a blocked punt on an unblocked guy coming right up the middle. Petersen is the special teams coach. Both of his units failed them in spades.

Defense did it's job really. Considering the heat and how bad the offense was they stood up as well as could be expected.

ASU's defense was the story of the night. But the dogs had their chances and simply blew it.

Or read all of the responses on softy's post after the second missed FG.

Petersen has to answer for this dismal kicking situation. There is zero excuse to be a team at this level and not have even one guy on your team that can kick a reliable PAT ffs.

BTW, they are 5/12 on FG's this year.

FIVE OF TWELVE

Completely unacceptable. Period. Fix it. Now.
