I don't know what kind of HC Smith would be. I know I'm not sold he is a D1 caliber play caller or QB developmental coach, but that doesn't mean he's not HC material. Maybe that would be a good fit for him.

Someone make sure they say all of that to the board at Oregon State. He's one of your own. Bring him home!

Yeah, he missed one early and then made the game winner. Where my seats were I couldn't see the angle on that last one, but I'll take your word for it that it was one of those odd kicks he does more often than not.

Maybe we got away with one, but right now I'll take it. There's a reason i bet against the spread on this game. -17 was way too fucking much for a team struggling on offense. But damn, giving up 30 at home against THAT team? The fuq is going on right now?

Maybe I'll look at it differently tomorrow. Right now I'm drunk as fuck and still a bit bitter about Cal losing and now playing nothing more than the role of spoiler next week. Fuck cal, Fuck Stanford, Fuck the cougs and fuck our OC.

The kicking situation, despite how the game ended, really is awful. Vizcaino has to be in his own head at this point. Hopefully our new kicker next year will be solid. The disappointing thing about the past two games is how much the defense seems to have fallen off. Hopefully they can pull it together for the Apple Cup because it's not a sure thing that the offense is gonna put together a solid performance and you can almost expect the kicking game to be a let down at this point. They're not going to the playoffs this year and they're not going to win the division or conference, but they can still put a nice cap on the regular season by taking out the Cougs.

Yeah, I'm sure most of us realize the challenge of the AC this year. They have a couple of really solid guys on defense that should be of some concern. That Hercules kid is a beast. Just really need our D to be like the D we have seen before the last two weeks and we will be more than OK. Let them move the ball like they have recently and that's not something I want to think too deeply about.

According to uber I was out of the stadium by 8:10. Think we arrived at the stadium around 6:30, idk why. Man I was fucking wasted. One of the biggest shit shows I've ever demonstrated in public, and I have quite the resume.

The hardest part for me about night games over and over are I just watched a tone of games already through the day and it really does take away the excitement a little bit. Almost like that good buzz u get going early but now have to draw it out.

At least it's not another 7:30 or 7:45 start PST start. A 5 PM start I can handle. It's like watching Thursday or Monday Night football, only a half hour earlier than that. If all of these night games were 5 PM starts, I don't think there'd be as much complaining about them as there is about the 7:30/7:45 starts. In a perfect world, the games would go back to being on at 12:30 on a regular basis like they used to be, but unless/until the conference renegotiates with the TV networks and they've listened to their coaches and their fans, this is what we're stuck with.
