Actually I stand corrected. Cohen was available with the first of our fourth round picks, when we took Mack Hollins, but not when Howie traded up for Pumphrey. He would have had to trade a little higher to get Cohen.

Hindsight. Give the draft another year or two before condemning the Pumphrey choice.

Not sure on the timing but perhaps they were targeting Cohen, traded up, and then ended up with Pumphrey.

Don't feel bad, you could have drafted Laquan Treadwell, who has 2 total catches in his career, when you could have drafted Sterling Shepard, Michael Thomas, or Tyreek Hill.

Man your WR group would be insane.

Like many, I thought Treadwell looked very good in college, like a young Dez Bryant. I am surprised he has done so badly.

Can't win them all. You got Thielen for free and he looks like a WR you can move all around the formation and he's going to kill anyone defending him in man and smart enough to find zone vacancies. He's going to be a stud for the next 6 years.

He was slower than Dez. I never was high on him.

So, essentially, we took Mack Hollins over Cohen. Pumphrey had nothing to do with it. I imagine in a few years we might just be fine with Hollins over Cohen.

Adding insult to injury, I played some dude on Madden last night who had Tarik Cohen at RB, and he kicked my ass with him. He's quick as hell in the game.

He was never going to play. Almost seems like fake news. Some questionable injury so they can stash him on IR like we all expected.

Good. He now gets to work on strength and explosiveness without worrying about the playbook and practice.
