How many all-star players does it take to have a "super team"?

I don't follow NBA, but I do like hearing about NBA players becoming free agents and looking for the team that gives them the best shot at winning titles. I think it is better than what team offers the most money.

But are there really any "super teams"? It seems like if a team has an All-Star, or two, it is a "super team".

Typically it's 3 together when people label them as a super team. Warriors have 4.

To me it's probably 3 guys. 2 stars on a team is a great team IMO.

And I think it's only fair to call them that if someone comes from free agency, especially to a team it was already winning. Miami wasn't winning when LeBron went there, but obviously the other two people joined him helped. If a team drafts three or four players that get to the All-Star game on their own merit, their team is super, but I wouldn't call the superteam. I would just called one of the greatest. 73 win Warriors is different than the next year.

To me, a true super team combines two prime superstars.

The Hawks had 4 all stars a few years ago, burn nobody would classify them as a super team.

Having multiple guys at the very top of the food chain is more important than having 3-4 lower level all stars.
