He sounds like Isaiah Thomas. Ball hog with no D. Iowa should be better but will be searching for a new leader. The entire BIG is a mystery again this year. From what I know many teams lost their best player.

Purdue: Lost their best player
Iowa: Lost their best player
Maryland: Lost their best player
Michigan: Lost their best player

Wisconsin: Lost 4 starters but not their best player and have best freshman class ever

Indiana: Lost their best player last year and were horrible

Northwestern: I believe they're keeping their key players
Minnesota: I believe they're keeping their key players as well.
MSU: I believe kept all their young talent

On paper Northwestern, MSU and Minnesota might be the top contenders for the reg season champ.

OSU, Illinois, PSU Rutgers, and Nebraska will have an up and down season but none should be in the top 5.

Big Ten Standing at the end of the season:

MSU
Northwestern
Purdue
Michigan
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Iowa
Maryland
Indiana
OSU
Nebraska
Illinois
PSU
Rutgers

Anything short of a MSU B10 title is a catastrophic upset.

Great Dayne

I was right even if you believe I was wrong

They were 10-8 last season with under 20 total wins. I wouldn't consider it a catastrophic upset but a slight surprise. They would have to win at least 5 more games to win the BIG this year.

Jok was strange in that I wouldn't classify him as a ball hog but what he did was often stop the natural movement of the ball because he would take a few extrabsrvonds to see if he could create a shot for himself. He was a willing passer but because the ball stopped so often when it got to him he'd miss the next pass that would've been an open look. When he was out or limited due to injury Iowa scored just as much ( 84 ppg ) and played far better D because Pete took risks looking for steal that would lead to open looks

FSU will take a step back from last season, but have a really deep backcourt, and that's not counting 5* frosh MJ Walker. No proven frontcourt depth. Freshmen Obiagu, Wilkes, and Gray will have to step up there.

Returning "good" players (i.e., guys you like getting significant minutes):

G:
CJ Walker
Trent Forrest
Terance Mann (could probably get minutes at F)
PJ Savoy
Braian Angola-Rodas (could probably get minutes at F)

F:
Phil Cofer

C:
Christ Komadje

Freshman: (Rivals)
5* G MJ Walker
4* C Ikey Obiagu
4* F RaiQuan Gray
3* F Wyatt Wilkes (was rated 4* awhile back)
3* F Anthony Polite
3* Bryan Trimble

Projected starting 5: (Both Walker and Forrest played PG at times)

G: Walker
G: Forrest
G: Mann
F: Cofer
C: Koumadje
