How do you rank the strength of major conferences in 2018?

I have trouble with this.
I think SEC is tops only because of an improved East.
Big 10 contends for #1 but they have a lot of weak teams in the bottom half.
ACC, Big 12, and Pac 12 round it out with AAC getting a nod.

Yeah, depending on what bad team Ohio St loses to this year and by how much, those 3 should make the playoffs.

I would put the SEC closer to the bottom. Too many new coaches or 2nd year coaches with new systems with too many teams still in the cluster-fuck mode. Alabama and Georgia being the exceptions.

SEC gets the best recruits so they are expected to be tops every year. But its not automatic. Placing them near the bottom is absurd. Bama, UGA, and Auburn were all top 5 in the end. Are you saying the rest of the conference sucks? Absurd. They SEC is improved this year with emergence of Miss St, Florida, South Carolina an Mizzou.

NO freaking way man. I'm a die hard and I'm dedicated to my lovable loser. But the last decade have been good times for Mizzou. All the past losing makes winning so much more satisfying. And this will be a good year and I can't wait. Dooley will run a pro offense which will be better for ball control and give the defense a rest that they never got last year.
