How are rookie receivers doing in OTAs for your teams?

I know OTAs are not that big of a deal. But curious to see how Treadwell, Coleman, Fuller, Doctson are doing. Because Michael Thomas is killing it.

Bills fans have no idea. lol

Media not allowed to report on personnel groupings, sub-packages, players who are practicing with individual units (first-team, second team, goal line, offense, nickel defense, etc.), special plays, who is rushing the passer, dropped passes, interceptions, QB completion percentage, etc.

SO there's 11 guys out there playing with the first team, some may be dropping passes, others may be catching them. Some may even be beating some other DB's. lol

Not technically a rookie, but Jordan Taylor may be one to watch out for in Denver.

Kinda curious about Heuerman too.

But if I hear one word about how Cody Latimer is showing how much he's learned in the off-season again... lol

What about guys that didn't play at all last year? Are they considered rookies?

Kenny Lawler has looked good in camp. Great hands. Don't put faith in results though until the pads come on.

Michael Thomas wont amount to anything. All the legend WRs have ridiculous names these days.

DEZ Bryant
ODELL Beckham Jr.
ANTONIO Brown (not too crazy, but Antonio is bold...)
JULIO Jones
DeAndre HOPkins
A.J Green
THE FITZ
Demaryius Thomas!

Even Calvin Johnson was a bit more flashier... he was named after the kid with the stuffed tiger.

A guy with two first names (Michael Thomas) by nature can't do well in the NFL. Best thing he can do is legally change his name to Mika Thomas before the season starts. Then we'll talk.

This right here. Hardly ever do you hear anything negative at this point in the season. They would have to be down right terrible for the coaches or even the press for that matter to really report anything at this point. As said above until the pads come on and we see the teams actually trying at 100% instead of this half speed thing right now we can't really read too much into anything.

Rookies are nice because they're shiny and new. But most rookies, especially receivers take a while to get going. In FF, I'm much more interested in receivers going in to their second year to find sleepers. Unless they're a top pick and going to be force fed the ball, my expectations of rookies receivers are next to nothing.

Good point. I will say we have seen more rookies lately actually producing at the position with guys like Mike Evans, OBJ, A.J. Green, Cooper, and others putting up some pretty good numbers. Still the majority of rookies though need at least a season to show what they got.

I saw a blurb on Roto that Tajae Sharpe was getting first team reps with Tennessee

Now see this is something that could somewhat matter. If they are quickly climbing the depth chart and not because of injuries then usually that shows they are down right going nuts at OTA's. That is something worth keeping an eye on for sure.

Holy homer thread.

FYI Nelson Agholor "looked amazing" early in camp for Philly too last year. Guy didn't do jack once the bullets went live.
