What percentage will you say that Muschamp returns next year?

I say he has a 70% chance to return unless we lose to Vandy.

If we miss a bowl game he is gone, injuries be damned.

I think if he does return, I think he will have to completely cede control of the offense to whoever they bring in as the new OC

He may cling to life if he goes to a bowl game. But I seriously doubt he makes it beyond December if he isn’t bowl eligible.

I think I disagree. You can't put an OC in for 1 year and expect miracles. The OC has to work with what you have. I've honestly yet to see anything on the offensive side of Florida that has impressed me the past few years.

We play you guys next year, and early in the year(Sept 20). Which makes no sense, we skipped Georgia completely for some reason. But I doubt you want to be breaking in yet another OC come that game. Your players will have to learn yet another system, like 3rd system in 3 years? Not good.

Give the guy some time to get the kind of players he needs.

Who you going to get with USC and possibly Texas looking for new coaches? Hoping for Strong?

Well hopefully Texas will take back Muschamp. :yahoo:

And, yes Charlie Strong would be a lovely addition. He’s obviously taken a nothing program and turned it around. He also has very strong recruiting ties in South Florida and throughout the State. Teddy Bridgewater is a perfect example if I’m not mistaken. He’s a defensive dude, so we would still need a solid OC. But he would be a very good pickup.

yes, but i will stop saying he deserves another season....deal?

We each have our opinions, and that’s ok. I just know the Florida alum have a very short fuse when it comes to watching the sweater unravel before them. I can’t believe they let Zook stay as long as they did. I don’t think they will give Muschamp that leash, whether that’s right or wrong, injuries or no injuries. I personally feel he’s just lacking something basic, something possibly intangible that keeps him mediocre. Yes, last season was good, but even then we had to win a lot of comeback games, and he somehow allowed his team to play ‘blank’ vs. Louisville. If you look at his body of work so far, it’s not impressive.

He needs to go. Last year was a fluke.

As I said from his first day, he is a terrible hire. Florida's bench is 2x more skilled than Vandy. No excuse for this loss. It's all on him.

Ok, with the loss today, I can see him getting fired now.

I'm afraid that's the damned troof. When you see the chronic disorganized mess that was evident against Miami, you have to look at the coaches. The players aren't prepared and, even if they were, the game plan is questionable at best. They can't get the ball to our talent...it just a complete fail. You could say the offense is "Addazioesque."

It's a miracle that we went 11-2 last year with our schedule. Losing by 17 to Vanderbilt at home made me lose any confidence I still had in Muschamp. Bring in Chip Kelly (unrealistic at the moment), James Franklin, or Charlie Strong.

I wonder what happens after we lose to Ga. Southern......
