Been ho hum, not much left out there.

Preservation - Caught this last night. Not much to it that hasn't been done before. Outside of Pornstache being in it, fairly unremarkable.

The Bad Batch? - IMDB includes horror for it. Fairly basic and boring movie.

Watched some of the latter saw movies, that I hadn't seen before. Yeah, didn't really miss much there. I'm sure I'll get around to Jigsaw within the next 5 years.

Bodymelt - Meh

I'm hurting for a decent horror. See there's a newer one called Slumber that's out, if anyone catches it, please let me know if it's worth the time.

Horror movies that will blow everyone away in 2018

I was a huge fan of The Strangers and think a sequel can be pulled off without watering down the product.

I like The Conjuring universe so I'll stay optimistic about The Nun.

I'm a huge sucker for Halloween, even the terrible ones so I'm in.

Insidious: The Last Key, didn't even know they made a third (prequel) the main freaky faced dude in the first two worked enough for me, the fact I didn't know about the prequel doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy about this and the one I missed.

Death House - A bunch of horror classics in the movie, but from what I can see, this looks more action/gore than horror to me.

Psychopaths - Sounds more like a fun movie than horror. Perhaps upon looking at it, I imagine a different take on seven psychopaths (very good and funny movie, but not a horror)

Winchester - Sounds familiar from reading it. Was this the basis of that one AHS season? Or was there another similar movie story? Either way it sounds familiar, like i've seen it done before (perhaps different elements from different projects, I mean Rose Red would fit the bill as a living house as well) that being said, this is the first on the list I will look forward to from a horror perspective. I do think the previous two can be fun movies. Just not scary.

Strangers: Prey at Night - Enjoyed the first. I pray this won't be as campy as that teaser made it look like it might.

A Quiet Place - Not much there to go off of, *shrugs*, I do appreciate they're not saying anything about it, though. Would prefer it, though I understand they have to market the previous films to try and build something up.

Slender Man - I will look forward to this. I'm not familiar with the website creepypasta outside of the story that made it national headline news. So, I was excited when I heard syfy had a series based on other stories from there (reading up on slender man and the true life story, you could make a pretty good show or movie out of it). I know nothing of the two stories syfy chose to go with other than they were pretty uninteresting shit TV.

Shit, there's like 21 more of these and I see half are either remakes, continuations, or reboots. Yeah, I'm good on that for now.

I either drank too much & passed out, or we switched to a different movie.

If you haven't checked out Mayhem yet, you should. If you liked Belko Experiment, then its right up your alley.

Thanks for the heads up on Mayhem. I've seen bits and pieces from the previews and it looks like a fun movie. I'll definitely check it out when I get the chance.

Haven't caught the Belko Experiment.

Watched two movies by the Mayhem director (Chillerama and Knights of Badassdom), appreciate that he doesn't take himself too seriously (as well as with his role in Holliston. If it's similar to Stalled, sounds like it'll be a good time. Or I guess it sounds like a cross between stalled (for the office party aspect) and I can't think of the other movie...maybe the signal.

what kind of grift is that? Do I tell God that he hows Bill Gates some money tomorrow, at which point Bill Gates pays me more? Of course not, it's a foolish venture. I will say, I feel inferior to the other takes, most of my reviews try to go for what I know i'm watching, most aren't kind, but maybe the are overall, they're never in depth, as to say anything in depth to me about a horror movie, gives it away. I went outside of that when i talked about the jeepers creepers 3, i had to wait until the next day to download that, if i had the option to speak and say as it was going on live, i would have given it the same treatment. i really don't know what i'm talking about right now, i like horror in all it's forms, you appreciated something i brought to this forum, and i appreciate your appreciation, as it were. i will continue to come here and post my random thoughts when they come up, I thank you for appreciating me? Chef or Face are the boss for me here.

The Strangers - is that a sequel or a remake? I loved the first one. The concept is just so freaky and bone-chilling for me. The idea of being trapped inside my own house with nowhere to go just sends chills up my spine.

A Quiet Place - I just saw the trailer to that over the weekend. That seems like a GREAT and ORIGINAL concept for a horror movie. Love Blunt and Krasinski and I think that's gonna be an awesome movie.

Something In The Dark - Kinda sounds a lot like an Asian horror movie, The Eye, which was later remade with Jessica Alba. Not too excited about that but could be interesting.

Glass - Split was amazing. Loved every moment of Split. Loved it even more when they tied it together with Unbreakable. Can't wait for this movie.
