12/22: VT vs St. Joe's (game in Brooklyn, NY), 1pmEST (online)

12/30: VT vs West Virginia, Noon (ESPNU)

We step up in competition against St. Joe's and then what should be a pretty tough game against WVU

Very easy win over Grambling. We'll get to see how much progress has been made on Tuesday though with St. Joes, who could likely be a tourny team

It didnt seem like they were playing very hard in the first half though. They did blow their doors off the entire second half though. They were able to get a lot of pressure on the ball.

Missed the game (who schedules non-holiday 1pm games on weekdays?) but from everything I've read, it sounds like St. Joe's handled us easily

Yeeeaaaa... that's a bit of a season killer. But this team is deep, or at least more balanced than I've seen in many years. Instead of being centered around one or two guys, we've got different players stepping up on different nights and contributing in different ways. Bibbs when he's hot can be lethal from beyond the arc, LeDay is looking like the real deal in the post and Seth Allen's game is coming along.

It's cliche' as fuck, but there's an opportunity to be found in every crisis. This will give some of the younger guys (well, even younger than our almost-no-seniors roster) some more minutes in ACC play. Hopefully someone can take those minutes and become a player before we've got a senior-heavy team next year.

Missed the game today, glad idea. Another WVU beatdown. I doubt if having Clarke would have made a difference
