12/5: Arkansas Pine Bluff vs VT 3pmEST (ESPN3 online)

ACC/Big 10 challenge starts this week. The NW game should be pretty competitive.

Bummer. Lost to NW in OT 81-79. Thought Allen's 3/4 court heave at the end of regulation was going in but it hit backrim. Allen's dribbling and shooting too much for my liking. He can score but we've got to find a way to reign him in. Totally forgot JVZ was on NW.

Frustrating end to an otherwise decent game. I've got hope for this team this year and going forward. I wish they could've sealed the deal last night, had plenty of chances to win it, but you can learn a lot from a tough loss like this.

Johnny Hamilton got suspended by the team for an indefinite time due to poor academics.

He was looking pretty good for us too. Best center we've got. Pierce doesn't look like he's improved at all so far

I'm not too worried. Blackshear is pretty good and Leday and Shane Henry can play small ball center if Pierce and Blackshear get into foul trouble.

We played pretty good defense today but we seemed to lose focus at the end of the first half. I would really have liked to see them keep the gas on after got up 20 or so.

I think we'll need his size come conference play. LeDay and Clarke have been excellent rebounders for us so far but we'll need the rim protection Hamilton can provide.
