Even without Adams, Oregon gets a top 100 defense and they win most of those games.

1. I can not take credit for that term. Awesome term as it is, I can not take credit. Heard it on the local radi show.

2. I never really got to comment on the Oregon Ducks hiring Brady Hoke as the defensive coordinator. Sorta got lost in the San Francisco 49ers hiring Chip Kelly.

What is the thought behind this hire? I compare this to Barry Bonds. Why Barry Bonds? Because Barry Bonds was the all time leading Home Run hitter, and this is exactly what this hire is. Home Run.

Dude inherited an absolutely terrible defense in Michigan in his first year. Turned the defense into at least top 20 in the country and took the Wolverines to a BCS game.

He has had many years of success as head coach, so that experience is huge. He is also one of the better recruiters you can get. That is dangerous for everyone else because Oregon already is a solid recruiting program.

He is capable of turning this team defense into a top 20 defense in the country. A top 20 defense with this offense?

This is going to be fun!
