Love the arms. Nasty.

Thames is in a pinch for PT, Schwarber a slump from being in one too.

So keep an eye out for OF on waivers.

I did read about that, but they said he would still play often. Shwarber's power upside was one of the better ones left remaining.

how many teams in this league?? seems like a 12 team...

your rotation is so strong, that you don't need those RP/SP hybrids... you seem very weak at closer, unless you CAN ONLY start one... even still would probably get another for the bench, while dropping one of the 2 RP/SPs...

Do you start all those pitchers?? if not who is on the bench??

I would also recommend getting another OF for your bench... while dropping a pitcher... and try to make it a speed/OBP guy like Delino Deshields...

if it is starting 5 SP, 2RP... he has 4 SP who have to start every week without playing matchups... then has another 4 SP to play matchups with... that is crazy, even in H2H leagues... if you are playing matchups, and you want depth, and can only start 5 SP you don't need 4 #1 pitchers!!!

and the whole purpose of being so strong with your SP is to allow you to get the Closers...

Even in H2H points, the save is generally worth enough points to make them still the better RP to have...

I disagree with you though that the offense is bad... He just has no bench right now, and Thames and Schwarber are kind of the same player, with similar risks....

and Carpenter is probably a weak 1B for a 10 team league... but he is not the problem...

I understand the situation of my hitters. But in 4th round I felt Seager was better to take than a 1b. Then in fifth round, Votto got taken and I ended up with Carpenter. In 6th, Dozier was taken and I took Dee. They were making a run on pitchers in 7th so I needed to get that fourth. I feel since it is a even year, giants are probably returning to the playoffs. That can only help Melancon. Blach had a good era last year. Minor is probably the one I would need to drop.

Quite possibly, I could trade Seager for a OF? And then trade Thames or Duvall for a SS? I did draft DeJong who is starting for St.Louis.

CBS thinks I have a bad team. And it's the same guy who is the paper champion that drafts hitters early for the third straight year. That's why I was asking about prospects on here because that information in the past is how I got Seager and Story.

Schwarber is a question mark (though I still wanted him...) didn't keep him and he was taken right before I was going to pick him up.

Got luck on Sano that league won't do anything with him... Also had him, didn't keep him and drafted right before I tried to pick him up again...

Best of luck

damn, thought what i was reading on him he'd be up sooner, oh well

Who knows. White Sox not winning anything will probably hold out his clock. If they start winning, he could be up sooner.

would't that mean they'd bring him up sooner? I mean it's not like they will win

Hmmm, you evaluate players based on an absurd short time period of they play on the Giants in an even year? You know that won't continue forever right? I think the Giants will finish 4th or 5th in the division this year. They were in a race down to the final game of the season of being the worst team in baseball last year. Do what you want but Melancon is already on the DL and I'm not positive on him at all coming back with much of anything.
