False equivalence. Tommy was a running QB with limited passing ability that was further hindered by his inability to even snap the ball from center or plant his feet and step through a throw.

Your D gave up 20 points in the first half. I doubt conditioning was the problem . Iowa scored 14 or less 5 times in 9 Big 10 games but dropped 40 on the Huskers lol. Blackshirts !!

Nebraska had more 1st downs. They only had 90 rushing yards and Iowa had 264. Nebraska averaged only 3.4 yards per pass, Iowa averaged 9.6. Nebraska averaged 2.9 yards per run, Iowa averaged 5.6.

Nebraska had a better 3rd down conversion percentage. Iowa's 1st Q TDs came from a 75 yard run and a 77 yard pass.

Iowa scored on 2 good field positions. One was set up by a 44 yard punt return by King and the other was set up by punt from Neb 11 and Iowa started from the 44.

I could see 7 max. I'm leaning 5-6 wins though . I see 4 sure losses ( Oregon, OSU, PSU, Wisconsin ) and 3 toss ups ( NW, Iowa, Minnesota). NW is better than Nebraska so I lean L there so they'd have to win the other 2 to get to 7-5
