Surprised that Domenicalli stepped down, because Ferrari's struggles are not his fault. Raikkonen just cant get the hang of a car with a lot of torque and no blown diffuser, and Mercedes has a couple years development on Turbo engines in general.

I just had a feeling that Alonso would step up with the new guy on the wall.

Newey can't commit to Red Bull | Planet F1 | Formula One News

Interesting. I think Newey would be nuts to go to Ferrari. I just don't see them giving him free reign to do his thing. Ferrari, the company, has such a huge ego that I don't know if they would just step aside and let him be him.

Now, if he was at McLaren or the Werkes Mercedes team? :D

This series of pictures cracked me up. From the drivers' press conference at the Chinese GP.

Last one especially.

Heart had a song-something to the effect: "If looks could kill, I'd be lying on the floor..."

I remember the Brit Jack Brabham. Tenacious driver and gave Mario Andretti fits when the elder Andretti ran the F-1 curcuit back-in-the-day.

F-1 expanding and the IRL is slooowwwllyyy dying. The IRL is down to 21-22 cars on a regular basis. Is there a bigger message here?

Geez, just do it already if you are going to leave Ferrari. Ferrari is already involved in other series like the Pirelli Challenge and the old Rolex series that has been re-named. They are turning into a bunch of whiny little girls in F-1 since their main dude skiied himself into a rock after he left Ferrari.

It is clear that one of the factors contributing to Ferrari's decline since Micheal Schmacher left is this oraganizational indecisiveness and whimpiness that has inundated them. I think Schumacher demanded perfection and organization and Ferrari all bought in. Now, they have turned into a bunch of indecisive girliemen that whine as a first response and then try to deny it when it is recognized and addressed.

Yes, it's amazing how far they have fallen now

The fact that Alonso and Raikkonen, two drivers who usually get more out of a bad car than most are struggling like this is amazing.

The car is probably a lot worse than both of them are making it look, with less talented drivers Ferrari might be struggling to score points this year.

Nailed it BoiseStateFan27. Alonso is qualifying well but then fades during the race. Ferrari has some work to do but I think it'll be a while until they rid themselves of this malaise. We shall see.
