I'm pretty sure they went to a bowl and won it last season. They actually had a pretty decent year.
they on their 3rd coach since June.

Well then that's awesome for the program. I thought they were dumping the program, I always wonder why that program didn't build up to a power house. The recruiting to the island would be a huge advantage

We're actually talking about Hawai'i football on this board for the first time in years

thus this move is a smart one for this sole reason

They also could really use him because Hawai'i will host Wisconsin and Oregon his freshman year

Unfortunately the kid doesn't even know he was offered a scholarship because
1 he doesn't understand what that is.
2. he is too busy with his fidget spinner

It's shitty when teams do this. LSU did this to an 8th grader and basically pulled his offer when he was a senior, kid committed to BYU. Not only that, you basically put a target on the kids back. Not to mention how the hell can you seriously evaluate how good a kid will be in 7 years. Reminds me of Alabama baseball.

True story, I go down to Alabama to see my cousin and his 8 year old kid is playing. The kid says and I quote,"Daddy I don't know how we are going to beat this team, they have the 5th ranked player in the state." As in, they assign rankings to 8 year old kids to evaluate how good they are... They also had 6 year olds playing at 60 feet bases to further the point of how much an embarassment this is. If the kids weren't playing pitch and fetch they were running a ground ball from first to third to try and get outs instead of making throws.
