I don't think Stoops has lost control. These guys just start to think they are above the rest of society and can and should be able to get away with anything and everything. I'm sure Stoops like all the other coaches preach to they guys all the time about right and wrong. There is only so much the coaches can do.

The biggest contributor to problems at ALL schools is, nowadays, not that many players live in athletic dorms. Mostly only freshmen. NCAA regulations prohibit dorms with over 50 percent athletic occupancy.

It used to be everyone lived in one place. They ate together. They slept together. The studied together. They played cards and watched TV together. They cried together. The got each other up in the morning. They knew each other's girl friends. And they kept an eye on each other. If someone was acting like a fool, he had 80 other people to catch him and ride his ass........before the coaches ever caught wind of the problem. Jock dorms would solve a lot of problems but the Do-Gooders messed all that up in the 80's and 90's.
