In a word? NOObviously James Harden will never be a two-way player. But just that one thing, as an offensive threat (scoring, assists, etc), is it fair to call him the best ever?

The question is about offense. Only offense.
Yes, and i'm saying for a guy who ONLY has offense, why isn't he putting up bigger numbers?
It's not like he's using up all his energy on both ends of the court.
He gets tons of points, assists, and rebounds. He definitely fills up the offensive stat sheet
Somebody already pointed out Westbrook has more. So why isn't he being mentioned more?
Is this a serious question?
For a guy who literally ONLY has offensive game, you'd expect him to score at least 40ppg
Which he doesn't...
He gets mentioned plenty. The top 5 are probably Jordan, Kobe, Harden, Curry, and Westbrook. (modern era). In some order.
He's good but Pistol Pete Maravich and Oscar Robertson were better.Obviously James Harden will never be a two-way player. But just that one thing, as an offensive threat (scoring, assists, etc), is it fair to call him the best ever?

YOu do realize his numbers are better than Kobe's, right?
What numbers? PPG? Or maybe the consecutive amount of games where he wore red socks?
You think PPG is the only way to measure best offensive players?
