It will be interesting to see how Dallas signs everyone. They have Hitchens, Lawrence and Z Martin to do. Lawrence is gonna get paid cause young pass rushers make big money (at least 60 million). Lost in the offensive problems is how fantastic the D played the 2nd half of the season.

Lawrence and Martin aren't going anywhere. Hitch is gonna be 50-50

When we let Leary go and Free retired I fully expected they'd be easy to replace. Turns out I was wrong. Maybe they need to get another OT and move Collins to G.

When smith went down our LG and swing tackles were exposed as trash. I want either McGlinchy OT or Courtland sutton WR at 19. I think the easiest way to fix the OL is to draft a RT and move Collins back. Either way we can't have Cooper as our LG and the same back up tackles. Dez needs to take a pay cut or be gone

I wouldn't mind that. Ivr seen a lot of folks say we can't afford to lose Dez. I think you can find 832 yards for half of what he makes

Easier said then done. He and others stats are down. Just looking at the 832 yards and saying that is easy to replace is simplistic. It is like saying I can find a back to get the yards Zeke got this year. Many more factors then just the numbers.

I would be fine with Cooper here in 2018. I thought he played OK and you can't pay every OL top $ and field a team

Yeah there are other factors.. he drops a TON of balls, he fumbles, he demands the ball, throws tantrums when he doesn't get it, runs terrible routes....all for a $16.5 million cap hit. His act could fly when he put up T.O. numbers, not so much with Kevin Williams stats

dont think people are saying he is the worst WR in football....... Just that he isnt a #1 WR in football, but being paid like one. hell if I cared enough to put some thought into it, I am sure there are some #2's on teams better than our #1.

He is the worst receiver in the league with a $16 million+ cap hit. I said I was all for him if he accepts a $4-5 million a year pay cut. That's not hatred, that's just the way it is

I'm not even saying that. Yes, I'm saying that he sucked this year and dropped pass after pass (a Hell of a lot more than the 12 he was credited with for sure) and just seemed to screw up in a lot of ways and has been bad for 3 straight years now. But, I don't know why and I think there are maybe a lot of reasons and many of those are not Dez. I actually think he is still be a #1 if your definition of a #1 is one of the best 32 WRs in the league. I don't think there is any chance anyone is going to be able to list 32 receivers that I will agree are better than Dez. His red zone ability alone assures that and just because someone had more catches or yards this year doesn't mean anything. But he needs to be much better and we need to add talent at the position. He is paid too much to not be top 10

well except if other #1's are being single covered & become irrelevant, they dont get to be considered #1's either.
Lets be real, the cowboys arent the only team playing without a #1 WR. Being top 32 doesnt make you a #1 WR.

With Sean Lee playing: 8-2 *(excluding the Atl game he barely played in)
With T Smith playing: 8-4 *(excluding the Sea game he barely played in)

* some of these obviously overlap

Of the games they both played in and played more than a little of the game I think we only lost one game (Denver). Problem with this is that both are injury concerns going forward too...
