Defensive lineman Johnathan Hankins will visit the Redskins, per multiple sources. Hankins was released by Indianapolis earlier Saturday afternoon. The Redskins have been reluctant to spend big on the defensive line, but if they did it would be for a younger lineman. Hankins is 25. He signed a three-year deal with the Colts last offseason.

Yep i hear skins might say fuck it and get guice at 13 could be a smoke screen guice is also moving up so by draft day he will be a top 20 pick anyways all the tapes i seen on him kind of looks like AD

I was wrong Hankins grade is 85 which makes him the second best dlineman in FA behind SUH. Thank God Bruce is being patient

I wouldn't be oppose to putting Roquan next to Z. Brown if the Skins feel they are settled on the line with this possible signing.

I am not sure how the numbers will shake out but we have to address the following:

Slot CB/CB, RB, ILB, NT and LG. We have to find 2 more starters in FA. I am hoping its Hankins (NT) and Jon Bostic (ILB).

We can then address RB, LG and CB in the draft. We would need to trade down in the 1st, but I believe, if we draft smart, we can find our starting LG and RB with those first two picks and find a slot CB with that 3rd rounder.

Be it Wilkeson, Hankins, Poe or whom ever..... We SHOULD still be considering Payne or Vea at 13 if one or both are there.
