This board has been awful silent for awhile. Is there any news on Hand? This signing could be a game changer.

I was in Mexico since last weekend so I wasn't posting much. I don't think there's going to be much news on Hand until he takes his official visits. He's gone pretty quite from a few weeks ago.

He set a date to commit, I believe it was Nov. 14th????

I would be surprised if he doesn't end up at Michigan. For the longest time it seemed like Michigan's only real competition for Hand's services was Va. Tech. So given they didn't make his top three, I think the road is clear, especially since he is going to see the atmosphere Under the Lights. Now I wouldn't exactly count Alabama out, but I do think he only listed them as a top 3 and doing an official visit to Tuscaloosa is because he is doing due diligence, but barring any major changes (which very well could happen) I full well expect him to dawn the maize and blue next year.

I don't think he has an official visit set up for either Alabama or Florida (yet). He will however be present for UTL2 on September 7th. Some believe he's already a silent (Michigan) commit...

A solid showing against ND in an electric atmosphere will only better our chances come November 14th (Hand's 18th birthday I just read) when he announces.

Mone, Marshall, Hand and McDowell in the same class? That would easily be one of the best DLine classes of alltime.
