I realize this isn't a TV show or Movie but the play Hamilton will start touring in the spring and it is entertainment.

I saw it on Tuesday and it was by far the greatest play I ever saw and probably 2nd only to the Seahawks Super Bowl win for me when it comes to live experiences.

If it comes to your town, get tickets. It is well worth the experience.

saw Hamilton yesterday in DC. It lived up to the hype. Very good show, interesting topic and very well done.

yeah, the tickets were very expensive.

but, I looked at the tour shows, and there were no plans for it to come to Albuquerque or Santa Fe (or Lubbock, or El Paso, or Colorado Springs, or Denver, or anywhere else within driving distance). Also, even the shows in smaller cities (I checked the show in Tulsa, Oklahoma), were only SLIGHTLY cheaper than the tickets on Broadway.

Also, i'm 38 years old, and I'm about to be in New York City for the first time in my life. So how many more opportunities am I going to get to see a Broadway show? And if I'm gonna spend the money to see a show on Broadway, why not see the one I really want to see and won't get other opportunities in the near future?

gotta get them straight from the box office. We got in the online queue the morning they went on sale and was contacted at 5pm that we were next to purchase.

i only got tickets to two events for the time i'm going to be in NYC. Hamilton and a Capitals-Devils NHL game. Other than that, I'll do the things I don't need to reserve a seat for, like the Metropolitan Museum.

Saw it on Broadway in November. I don't usually like musicals, but I did like this one. I learned a lot watching it.
Also, I met Zac Brown at the souvenir stand. Talked to him for a minute or 2.
