Last big one we did with them has to be Arnott for Guerin & Zelepukin back in ancient times.

I'll miss Larsson but we needed the O boost.

hall is definitely up there in talent/offensive ability and now coming to a franchise that isn't edmonton? that can only take his game to the next level.

And I think the kid is actually a good two way player...not unlike a Henrique. Hell he was -4 on a horrible defensive team last year (not bad to go with 25 goals and almost 40 assists!)

Every EDM forum is crying out for murder.

While i agree and without doubt say we made out and only to trade Adam alone without a pick and/or more players is astonishing, the Oilers fan brass/media are exposing their butthurt and shock for this trade. In due time, they'll see Adam being a very good defensive tool/player for them on a good contract.

What they are crying about will disappear once McDavid rises, RNH continues, Drait plays more and more, Yakupov stays the same, ohh ya that rookie they were generously given is pretty damn good in potential and lets say that Lucic ACTUALLY GOES AND SIGNS there... yea, Oilers should be just fine in no time...

Agree with everything that has been stated above. Shocked by this and I'm going to miss Adam Larsson who is a very good player who will only get better. However, we landed Taylor Hall, who is the best player in this deal and a great offensive player which this team desperately needs. I think he will get even better playing in an environment with less pressure as D-1 mentioned.

And yes it does remind me of the deal to get Jason Arnott who is one of my all time favorite players. Wonder what number Hall will wear? Cause he surely wont be wearing the number he wore out there.
