Who's going to make it in to the Hall of Fame tonight?
Who didn't vote for Raines? He's a lock.
Yes. And he's getting in.Isnt this his last go around on the ballot?
The question is "who will make the HOF tonight?" and Vlad is far from a lock. I would say it's a stretch for him to get in this year. Bagwell and Raines are the only locks to get in tonight. Then Pudge, Hoffman, and Vlad are the next possibilities.Vlad looks like the biggest lock there
A lot of Fence guys to me
I bet Hoffman is slightly salty, 1% away.
Pudge RodrigezWho's going to make it in to the Hall of Fame tonight?
He's clearly getting in next year. I don't think anyone has gotten that close and not got in the next year. I'm thinking it's a 4 player class next year with Vlad, Hoffman, Thome, and Chipper. I'll also be interested in the Veteran's Committee next year as there are quite a few good candidates including: Trammel, Whitaker, Grich, Tiant, Reuschel, Nettles, Evans, Randolph, Buddy Bell, Keith Hernandez, Bobby Bonds, Ted Simmons, among others who are eligible in the "Modern Baseball Era" ballot.Yep, and he won't get in over Rivera in 19', so he's got one more year or he's waiting awhile.
