stupidity = reality Bruce, wake up!I will to see the presser before I jump to the stupidity
If Jay is coaching for his job next year, he better care who is QB is. KC gives him the best chance next year. Without a doubt. The odds are that a rookie or a journeyman vet isn't going to perform as well as KC, who has had 4 years in the same system and is one of the most accurate passers in the league. Does he have flaws? Yes. Name me one QB that we can get in here next year that doesn't.And I think until its settled one way or another, folks are going to read into it what they would like to see on both sides.
I think Gruden is taking lessons from Bruce on being politically correct in his responses.
IN the end, this will drag out until March and while they should be concentrating on fixing the defense, running game, WR position and Special teams... they will spend another off season trying to figure out the QB position.
In the end, Jay Gruden is coaching for his job in 2018 no matter who the QB is.

That's my take also. What I would like to know is behind the scenes is Gruden lobbying hard to get KC signed.Preaching to the Choir bro.
My take is, if Gruden is smart, he wants Kirk on a long term deal. But also because he is smart, he realizes he cant break out and say... we have to resign Cousins period.
