This Week

10th seed - LB Dick Butkus vs 23rd seed - QB Dan Marino
15th seed - QB Otto Graham vs 18th seed - FB Bronko Nagurski

Seeds are based on a ranking from NFL.com. I did not include the two offensive linemen that are in the top 24.

This will be double elimination. Allowed to change votes until deadline. Higher seed advances in case of a tie.

Bracket
*Poll does not close until May 26th around 11:57 pm. The poll results on the brackets are not official. I am just working both sets of tournaments to be posted on Saturday. I also corrected the brackets.

Both get mentioned when the "best of that position" is discussed. I don't think either one revolutionized the game, they just played really good. Butkus was the beast that would tear your head off. Marino was just an amazing passer and could move the pocket very well.

I picked Marino because he broke all of these records with just an okay team around him. I don't know how many QBs would have been able to do that with that team.

Marino be in the GOAT discussion. He was amazing.
Butkus was one of the best at any position. I picked Butkus because he separates himself from the crowd of would-be greats, Marino does not.

Dick was the modern day version of Ray Lewis times 100. He was probably the most feared player on the Bears defense in his days. He was a game changer. 2x DPOY but no rings just like Marino.

Marino was near-flawless in his passing game. He always had an average team. If he had more weapons around him, he probably gets 1-2 rings. But I'd take guys like Favre, Elway, Brady, P. Manning ahead of him with ease.
