15 years ago this field consisted of: Indiana, Marquette, Tennessee, Oregon State, Texas, St John's and Gonzaga.

The field today: Buffalo, Nevada, Oakland, UC-Davis, Weber State, Drake, Iona.

To say the field has been watered down would be an understatement.
