Yeah, I do feel like Pitino took it easy on them. I mean we could have tripled team and double teamed after a bucket if we wanted too. No doubt the Gophers let up, and pretty much lost all intensity once it was down to 3.

If by "took it easy" you mean not hustling & being lazy then you are correct. There were several instances late in the game where AL players came down w/ rebounds against multiple MN players - that should never happen in that situation unless AL has the next LeBron on their team. What an embarrassment. That team is ranked #12?

It was an embarrassment, only because they lead by double digits for the first 30 minutes of the game for the most part. I don't think the Gophers played with the same intensity, but I think its only natural to have a let down given that situation. The Gophers have played really well so far this season. Them being ranked 12th is fine. They started the season ranked 40th in KenPom and are already up to #23

No by take it easy I mean how they just sat and took jumpers and didn't just pound it in to Murphy the whole time

The gophers are 12th for a reason. They abused Bama before the caos ensued and they also couldn't be stopped on the road at Providence.

Take it you don't watch much hoops. 12th is like the floor of their rankings. Many power rankings got them as high as 6ish
