Yep I am not . Comparing to Orlandon Franklin to Watson is not fair to Watson who looks fine as a back up .

Franklin would be alright as a starting RT . Possibly great with the right coach . Manning was fragile and staff tried to improve they never did IMO .

Franklin is no better than Stephenson at RT. Clones. I'll hope for Watson improved play RT.

Bull pucky Franklin is a true road grader RT that led the league in big Runs both years he was at RT for us I believe his average run thought his hole was around 6 yards .

Franklin knock was he could not run at that time we screening the NFL to death .. when he went to G because of his one crappy game in the SB we had to stop screens but at Tackle he was solid and people need to get over that one bad game I get it he sure picked a bad game but he is 2 times the RT then anyone on our team .

Chargers decided to eat 3.5 million after 2 yrs of 5 yr contract. He graded out as one of the worst Olineman his two yrs in SD. Not sure the confidence you have in him recently holds any water over what Denver currently has based on his performance since Denver cut him. Believe me, I want much improved O line for Denver as much as anyone, but Franklin doesn't meet need.

Not really. Cut players are not viewed as being worth it. Players not re-signed might be valued by the organization just not fit in financially to their plans moving forward. Such as Broncos valued Malik trying to get him re-signed but he priced himself out of Denver.

Gotsis was never big enough or strong enough to complete in the NFL. Maybe drafting Walker at your position will push him . I think he's bigger and stronger this year. We shall hope because Denver drafted 2 developmental players in the top two rounds in 2016.
