What a tool this guy is. Fires his OC because he was offended by his comments and then gets dusted by putting a drunk in charge of the Offense in the biggest game of the year. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

He fired his OC because he was routinely late to meetings, called shit plays, and was busy recruiting for his new coaching job.

He didn't fire shit, the dude already has another job lmfao

and no one loves Joey Freshwater more than I do, but let's be realistic here, lot's of reasons to hate Saban but this isn't a good one.

He's too good of a player to be doing that playground shit.
It's starting a disturbing trend now. I saw one guy kick another player in the nuts the other night and he got kicked out. Then there is Draymond Green from the Warriors. What the fuck is going on?

I admit it was great to see him lose. The hype was just getting too high. He's a great recruiter. If you have enough 5* players, all the coaches have to do is get that talent moving in the same direction. Not always easy, but he does a good job getting asst. coaches who know how to do that. I have a feeling Kiffen deserved everything he got. Would I have put up with it for one more game, probably, but I wasn't there to know for sure. I think the loss shows that there are some other great coaches out there. They just have to get all the pieces to fall together at the same time.

LOL...I doubt Lane ever congratulated anybody other than himself. He probably spent the small hours of last night flexing his muscles in the full-length mirror

True. But the majority of the talent pieces are congregated in just a few teams. IMO, 2 or 3 consecutive annual signing days give us the pool of 8-10 potential playoff teams 2-3 years out. Then they have to deselect themselves by screwing it up somehow.

Damn, someone is occupying space in the OP's head. I near Saban is dejected this morning because the OP is happy about his loss. Yep, thats the reason.
