Hey Brad, admit you made a mistake with this choice for head coach and correct that mistake at the end of this season.
If they miss the playoffs my guess is it won't be Brad making the call.Hey Brad, admit you made a mistake with this choice for head coach and correct that mistake at the end of this season.

His boss already said they wouldn't do that though. My biggest fear is that BT is going to make a big splash here at the trade deadline in the hopes of trying to make the playoffs and mortgage even more of the Flames future.
Dallas Stars fire head coach Gulutzan as rebuilding begins
Also of interest, year two results worse than year one. Same as with the Flames. Also, thanks to last night's result, the Flames are guaranteed to finish with more losses than wins this year. Same as Gulutzan's second year in Dallas.
Pretty simple, the guy is not a NHL coach and better be canned as soon as the season is over.

When was the last time the NHL went a full season without a coach being fired?
I mean, how can you bring him back?
Maybe he just doesn't have enough truculence in his lineup. Not his fault really.
Wait. Are we talking about Guy Boucher Here? There's plenty of blame to pass around and I happen to think that Gulutzan is a pretty good X's and O's guy. The problem is hockey is also a game where you need to make adjustments on the fly when things are not working, double-shift guys who are feeling it that night, and call a freaking time-out when you team is on the ropes (or pull a goalie when you're still in a game, not after he has let in a couple more goals). These aspects of the game are where he fails miserably and in a league with this much parity, that's the difference between making the playoffs and making tee times.
Alain Vigneault time?
