His take....
Not that worried at all. The Bengals had a lot more rookies and backups in there starting off than Detroit did.
But whatever. It was the first game of the preseason. I cannot remember when the Bengals had a good preseason... no matter what the season... even since I have followed them in the 1980s.
I thought there were some positives. I really liked Dalton. He came back from the pick and showed some poise back there.
The WRs showed poise as well... really liked what I saw.
I am concerned big time again with the OL. They looked horrible on pass protection... typical.
I thought there were a lot of positive runs with Benson... Benson looked strong and so did the run blocking. Against Suh and that line... it was a solid but limited performance.
The D had so many out that I think it is hard to evaluate just yet. Heck... it's the first preseason.
